The water mist formed on the film will cause uneven light distribution and produce grating, which is not only unsightly but also affects the function. In order to alleviate this problem, antifogging agent (dripping agent) is added to the formula. These surface acting chemicals are added during polymer processing. The condensed water droplets can be distributed into a continuous transparent thin layer. The function of this additive is to increase the critical wetting tension of the polymer surface and reduce the contact angle between water and the polymer surface.
